We meet in the church to worship on Sundays at 10.30am.
Family Service
First Sunday of the Month
This service is relaxed and informal, and perhaps a bit more creative than an average Sunday! We sing and hear a reading from the Bible, with a short talk to help us understand and reflect. Our prayer time is often creative, making use of prayer stations and crafts. A printed service sheet will guide you through the service and can be taken home to provide food for thought after the service. This service lasts around 35-45 minutes. Tea, coffee, and squash (and perhaps a biscuit or two) are served after the service and all are welcome to stay.
Sunday Service
Other Sundays of the Month - Sunday Stars (for children and young people) held during the service on the third Sunday of the month.
We join together as the people of God here in Wootton to worship, pray, hear God's message for us, and to receive bread and wine (Holy Communion, or the Eucharist). We welcome all at this service, whether you are new to church, a long-time pilgrim, or just dropping by. A service booklet gives you everything you need to follow the service and we sing from printed books or sheets - our Welcomers will ensure you have everything you need when you arrive. Holy Communion is available to all who are baptised and usually receive. If this is not you, don't worry, we hope you will find blessing in your time with us. Our service lasts around 45-55 minutes and is followed by a time of fellowship as we stay to enjoy refreshments together.
We also meet during the week...
Tuesday Reflective Communion
This simple, peacefilled service is a moment of stillness and calm in the busyness of life. Join us for a short, spoken service where bread and wine are offerred. If you are not baptised, or do not usually receive the bread and wine (Communion), you are most welcome to join us in worship and to receive a blessing.
